Policy and Civil Rights

Change the conditions. Not just the conversation.

Digital Right of Reply leads this renewed chapter. The wider agenda connects freedom, safety, family, economic dignity, and the right to participate without being erased.

First initiative: Digital Right of Reply

We are developing a bipartisan policy proposal and practical reply-and-correction standards. The starting point is accessible process, evidence, civil liberties, and scrutiny of monetized harm. This is a developing proposal, not enacted legislation.

The wider work agenda

These are policy commitments and research priorities. Jurisdiction-specific legal analysis, model bills, and outcome claims require separate published evidence and review. We do not claim every brief is complete or every reform has been enacted.

  • Bisexual justice: identity-safe participation, better data, anti-erasure, and recognition of families and relationships.
  • Domestic violence and survivor autonomy: safety, housing, economic abuse, disability access, and survivor-directed decisions.
  • Missing people and families: fair attention, accessible reporting, family navigation, and accountable institutional responses.
  • Sex-work decriminalization: reform around consensual adult activity, worker rights, safety, privacy, and protection against violence and exploitation.
  • Drugs, poverty, and survival: voluntary healthcare, housing, harm reduction, and alternatives to punishing life-sustaining conduct.
  • Family-court justice: responses to domestic violence, coercive litigation, disability access, and evidence-based decisions.
  • Economic dignity: housing, childcare, healthcare, education, transportation, digital access, and opportunities to earn.

How a proposal becomes useful

  • Identify the institution and jurisdiction with authority to act.
  • Separate current law, documented outcomes, personal testimony, and the proposed change.
  • Include affected communities with accessible participation and clear compensation terms.
  • Publish sources, disagreements, revisions, and practical measures of progress.
  • Take reviewed proposals into public education, coalition work, and policy engagement.
