Community and Chapter History
A useful directory needs a current date.
The old directory is part of the archive. It is not a verified list of active groups, current officers, or safe contact routes.
Historical directory
Read old listings as records of community-building in their era. Before contacting a group, verify its current public presence independently; old names, addresses, meeting details, and links may have changed.
A future reviewed directory
Current listings should require the organization's consent, a checked public contact route, a last-reviewed date, and clear distinctions between a listing, a chapter, and a formal partnership.
Directory participation must not expose private individuals or reveal membership without consent. Listing updates and chapter proposals can begin with minimal public information.
