About BiNet USA
Bisexual leadership. A wider civil-rights mission.
We are a bisexual-led civil-rights and policy project working across communities. We organize for changes in systems, rather than presenting ourselves as a direct-service agency.
What we do
Research, organizing, evidence preservation, public education, coalition-building, and advocacy are connected parts of our work. We bring community experience into conversations with institutions and policymakers, and work toward laws and practices that respect people in their full lives.
BiNet's historical record includes engagement with the White House. Today's policy ambitions are not a claim of a current government partnership, a law we alone passed, or an official endorsement.
Who belongs in the work
Bisexual, pansexual, fluid, queer, questioning, and unlabeled experiences inform our leadership. We also work for the rights of people who do not share our identities, beliefs, or politics.
Race, disability, faith, family, migration, housing, poverty, sexuality, bodily autonomy, and freedom from violence do not stop at separate organizational doors. Neither should justice.
Our institutional home
The current project operates within XXYYZZ Society Limited Company, described here as XXYYZZ Society LLC, under Faith Cheltenham's leadership. This describes the present operating project, not a claim that every historical legal entity, asset, or partnership automatically transferred to it.
The historical nonprofit-era archive is preserved as history. We do not describe current payments as tax-deductible charitable donations or present an old board directory as today's governance.
Independent, not indifferent
We work across political lines where there is a real opportunity to improve policy. Strategic engagement is not blanket endorsement. Our standards are evidence, civil liberties, community participation, and practical outcomes.
This website announces civic and policy work. It does not solicit votes or announce an electoral campaign.
