We need volunteers online and off!

Our history is rich and diverse

Bisexuals have been part of the modern Lesbian and Gay Civil Rights and Liberation Movement since at least the mid-1960s. For a variety of reasons bisexuals have also organized separately while continuing to be active in gay, lesbian and other progressive movements.

We're Here and We Remain Ready

“Are we ready for a National Bisexual Network?” was proposed on a 1987 flyer distributed to bi folks marching in the 1987 March on Washington by Liz Nania (who designed the overlapping triangles in the BiNet USA logo) and Lucy Friedland of Boston Bi Women who coordinated with me and Autumn Courtney of BiPOL San Francisco to handle the response to the flyer. From that came the first National Bisexual Conference in 1990 where the work of organizing BiNet USA began." – Lani Ka’ahumanu (Wikipedia)
